Cymaris PEGylated NV FNDs are functionalized with discretely-sized polyethylene glycols of unique, specific, single molecular weight, which convey the beneficial properties of monodispersity, increased water solubility, reduced aggregation, and reduced immunogenicity. Alcohol PEG FND probes provide surface functional alcohols for preparing custom conjugates of ultrabright and photostable fluorescently labeled proteins, antibodies, or other biopolymers that may be used for various labeling and tracking applications.
